Is your protection up to date?
As cyber criminals constantly seek new ways and invent new technologies to infiltrate and gain control over computers in Internet, and new viruses and mass-mailing worms clog the cyberspace, you need an up-to-date protection to ensure that your system will not fall their victim.
First, make sure that you have the most recent version of software you use:
- Current Outpost Firewall Pro version: 2.7.493.416
- Current Tauscan version: 1.7 build 1414
If you have and earlier version, please update the software.
Updating Outpost Firewall Pro instructions
Determine what version of Outpost Firewall you are using
- Open Outpost Firewall main window;
- On the Help menu click About;
- Examine your Outpost Firewall version and compare it to the latest version published on the site.
How to renew your expired license
- Outpost Firewall Free 1.0 users:
-You need to purchase Outpost Firewall Pro license and then go back to this page and proceed to upgrade instructions;
- Outpost Firewall Pro 1.0/2.0/2.1 users:
-You need to extend your subscription and then go back to this page and proceed to upgrade instructions;
- Outpost Firewall Pro 2.5/2.6/2.7 users:
-Follow the upgrade instructions on this page.
Automatic Upgrade through Agnitum Update
- Open Outpost Firewall main window
- On the Tools menu select Agnitum Update
- Follow the wizard steps to complete upgrade.
If for this or that reason you cannot upgrade using Agnitum Update, please complete these steps for manual upgrade:
Manual Upgrade
- Download the Setup package
- Save your work and exit all other applications
- Run OutpostProInstall.exe to automatically upgrade your copy of Outpost Firewall
- Follow the Installation Wizard instructions
